Favorite Quote---

Someone posted this quote on my door when I was young.  This quote did not have the writer's name attach to it, so I apologize for crediting this to that person...

"A friend walks in when the rest of the world walks out..."

I like this quote because it reflects my personality.. I tend to rescue people even now as an adult.  The hard part is accepting that some situations I cannot even rescue a friend or two.  A recent situation occurred and I had to remain on sideline.

  1. Chrissy,
I know some sign language due to working with mute children and some hard of hearing children. I would like to be more fluent than I am. I also have been given this quote by friends and am not sure who actually wrote it but how true it is.

  2. Speaking of Sign Language, you can always take a class at community college or an agency like interpreter organization or a center near you residence.

  3. I really like that quote you posted because it is true in so many ways. A true friend will always have your back no matter what and they will always be there to listen when you need them too. True friends are hard to come by these days. However, like you said in some situations you have to just stay to the side and hope for the best.

  5. Chrissy,
I really like the quote you posted. I will be writing it on my mirror. I always write quotes on my bathroom mirror for motivation on a day to day basis. Your reason for liking that quote reflects me. My friends always considered me to me the peacemaker of us all. It is my goal to always surround myself with positive and goal oriented people so that we can encourage each other to fulfill our destiny!

  6. Chrissy,

I enjoyed reading your quotes!! I have one quote or statement that I think about when working with children. "Any and all children can succeed despite any obstacles that they may face."
